There are so many good horror movies, but one I couldn’t forget for days, I even watched it countless times, finding some new details, which escaped my mind previous times. It’s not some creepy movie with villains wearing masks, killing, harming, bleeding or not like other regular horror movies, it’s just very interesting movie about ghosts, which will give you chills and it’s called ‘The Others’.
‘The Others’ was created 2001 with the one and only actress Nikole Kidman, who’s acting in this movie was breath taking. Movie is 19 years old, but I still remember it very well. So, a little bit about the plot of the movie… First scene starts with Grace Stewart waking up from the nightmare. The action is happening after World War II in the Jersey house, where Grace lives with her two children Anne and Nicholas, who have rare disease photosensitivity- children are allergic to sunlight. Grace hires three new servants, old couple and young girl, who doesn’t talk. They were working before in this house, so they know every corner of the house very well. The family starts experiencing present of ghost, they starting hearing noises and Anne claims to have seen a group of people several times. Things get worse, when Grace tries to go and find the priest, but she’s lost in the mist not too far from the house. She finds there her husband, wandering in the mist, who she fought dyed in the war. But the husband doesn’t look happy being finally reunited with the family and leaves the next morning. After Grace wakes up, she sees that all the curtains in the house are gone, which is deadly dangerous to the kids, so she fires the servants, because she thinks they’re hiding those curtains.
And then starts the best part of the movie, which I’m not going to reveal, because you need to see this movie for your selves. All I can say the ending was shocking, I could never expect that twist and you understand that everything what happened in movie makes sense now. I highly recommend to watch it and maybe you’ll like it some much, that you’ll want to watch it many times again, like I did.
